Embedded Voicemail resides inside of your Avaya IP Office base unit eliminating the need for a separate voicemail PC. Embedded Voicemail is the preferred solution to enable an entry-level voicemail service, in environments like a retail or home business where no space for a PC is available or you do not want to keep a PC running all the time.
This eliminates the risk of someone accidentally switching off the PC thereby taking away the voicemail service. On both, the IP Office Small Edition and the IP406 V2, Embedded Voicemail can be installed to provide an entry-level voicemail service. The maximum number of messages stored is only restricted by Embedded Voicemail cards storage capacity (currently around 10 hours on the Small Edition and 15 hours on the IP406 V2).
